Getting into sachi just got simpler. You can now sign up or log in with your Google or Apple account, on our website or in our iOS app (android coming soon). No new password to create, and no verification code to wait for.
Here’s the short version:
If you’re new to sachi, choose Google or Apple, confirm a couple of details, and you’re in. If you already have an account, sign in with the Google or Apple account that uses the same email address, and you’ll land right in the account you already have.
Signing up for the first time
- Choose Google or Apple. On the sign-up screen, choose Continue with Google or Continue with Apple.
- Approve the sign-in. Google or Apple asks you to confirm it’s you. Your email is verified through them, so there’s no code to enter.
- Add a couple of details. Let us know whether you’re joining as a parent or an educator, add your zip code, and agree to our terms.
- Complete sign up. Families can start finding an educator, and educators can continue setting up their profile the same way as before.
Already have a sachi account?
You don’t need to start over. On the login screen, choose Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple, and use the account that matches the email you signed up with. sachi connects it to your existing account, so your profile, messages, and bookings are right where you left them.
A note for Apple users: if you choose "Hide My Email" when signing in with Apple, Apple shares a private relay address with us instead of your real one. That address won't match an existing sachi account, so if you already have one, choose "Share My Email" to connect it.
Your password stays with Google or Apple
When you sign in with Google or Apple, sachi never sees or stores your Google or Apple password. They confirm it’s you, and we take it from there. It’s one less password for you to keep track of, and one less step between you and the educators and families you’re here for.
A few quick answers
- Do I have to use Google or Apple? No. Signing up and logging in with your email and password works exactly as before.
- I already have an account. Will this create a second one? Not if you use the same email address. Sign in with the Google or Apple account that matches your sachi email, and it connects to the account you already have.
- Does sachi see my Google or Apple password? Never. Google or Apple confirms it’s you, and your password stays with them.
- Can I use this on Android? Absolutely. Use sachi in your phone’s browser, and sign in with Google or Apple just like on the iOS app. Our Android app is coming soon.
- Is this for families and educators? Both. Everyone on sachi can sign up or log in with Google or Apple.
